Ellen has worked in the legal field for over ten years and prior to joining Schnauss Naugle Law, Ellen focused on highly litigated cases in the areas of family law, including domestic violence injunctions, divorce trials, custody modifications, child support concerns, and other related issues. In addition to that experience, she has also spent time at firms handling various areas of Elder Law (trusts, estates, and probate), Community Association Law (HOA/Condos), and Real Estate transactions.
While earning her Juris Doctor from Florida Coastal School of Law, as well as a Certificate in International Law, she was also one of five students chosen to serve as an International Law Fellow working with the War Crimes Tribunal at the Constitutional Court of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Prior to attending law school, Ellen earned her Masters from University of Roehampton in London, England.
Ellen originally hails from Panama City, Florida and although she is an avid traveler, she is a life-long Florida resident and an alumna of Florida State University. Her and her husband Jack reside in the Ortega area with their two kids and two dogs. She is involved in the Rotary Club of Riverside, Jacksonville, the American Family Law Inn of Court, and is a former member of the Jacksonville Junior League.
